Here we go - holidays 2020. It will be a season unlike any other, and not always in a good way. State rules prohibiting large gatherings mean many annual performances and events won’t happen this year. But a number of favorite Or- egon traditions have made the necessary adjustments under coronavirus restrictions to offer fun and entertainment befitting of the season. Our 2020 holiday events guide includes some traditions that have regrouped and restructured. We’ve also listed some classics that have shuttered for 2020. Winter Wonderland at Portland International Raceway Holiday Light Displays Still Shining Source: www.oregonlive.com

The drive-thru holiday light show at Portland In- ternational Raceway is on this year and welcomes visitors to drive along the racetrack to see light- ing displays accompanied by recorded music of the season. All proceeds from the event go to Sunshine Division’s hunger relief efforts. Some changes for 2020 include: No bike night No dog walk nights Cash payments are not accepted (credit or debit only/tickets can be purchased online) Food donations will not be accepted (financial con- tributions can be made with ticket purchase)

ZooLights will feature a drive-thru option two days of the week. Timed-entry tickets will be re- quired in advance; masks are required; and one- way paths and social distancing reminders are in place. Pricing will vary depending on the date. Check oregonzoo.org/visit/zoolights. Also note, there will be no daytime zoo hours Tuesdays and Thursdays through the run of ZooLights and until Feb. 18 to allow for needed maintenance work during what is typically a slow time for the Zoo.
