After an amazing camp breakfast of eggs and some bacon they brought in a cooler, they decided they should split up to find cell service. They still had to try and see if they could get a hold of the park rangers to report what they had seen. They decided to split up in groups of two and agreed to re- turn to camp in thirty minutes to regroup. While Stanley and Jimmy were off in their direction, they were talking about what happened that morning. Neither of them could understand what could have possibly happened to Sara’s bag. All of them kept their bags in their tents just in case it rained, so who could have taken it, where did they put it, and why? As they continued walking, Jimmy spotted some - thing purple off the trail. Jimmy said, “Hey! Isn’t that the same color as Sara’s bag?” Stanley stopped and looked over in that direction and said, “Yea, it sure looks like it; should we walk over and check it out?” As they got near it, they realized it was Sara’s, but it was wide open with all of her stuff torn up and all over the ground. “What the hell!” Jimmy exclaimed. “How could this even be possible?” said Stanley. The guys took a photo so they could show Sara, and then gathered what was left of her things and head- ed back to camp. Once everyone started returning, Sara was quick to see her bag! “Oh my God, my bag! Where did you find it?” she asked as she began examining her things. Jimmy looked at her and said, “Sara, are you sure you put your bag into the tent last night?” Sara responded, “Of course! I literally looked in it right before I fell asleep!” Ann agreed that the bag was in the tent be - fore they went to sleep. Jimmy proceeded to tell Sara that they found the bag out in the woods right off the trail and that it was opened and all her stuff was everywhere. Then he showed her the picture, and she looked mortified. “How could this even happen? One of you had to have done it! So fess up!” They all looked around confused not knowing what to say. Sara continued, “If someone doesn’t tell me right now, I’m leaving.” Still no one knew what to say. Anne looked at Sara and said, “Listen, I’m so sorry about your bag, but you have it back now. Let’s just pretend this never happened and we can worry about it later. Please don’t leave.” Sara looked at Ann and said, “I thought you were my friend, but now you’re taking their side!” Ann
