CENTRAL WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY Board of Trustees May 19, 2023 Action – B.A. in Art History approval Central Washington University proposes the creation of a B.A. in Art History in the Department of Art + Design. The Art History major will engage students in an interdisciplinary approach to the discipline that promotes an understanding of art in relation to aesthetic traditions, cultural values, and social experience. Graduates from the program will be prepared to meet the growing demand for archivists, curators, and museum professionals.
We recommend the following motion:
