HP DESKTOP LASER TRANSFER PAPER FOR LIGHT / WHITE SHIRTS
(FOR COLOUR COPIERS / LASER PRINTERS) WORKS ON MOST MACHINES (Both old and New type)
PRINTING AND APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
• Fan the sheets of transfer paper on all four sides to reduce static charge.
• Reverse (flip or mirror) the image before printing • Load transfer paper so blank side receives the image • Set your Laser printer to LABEL and print from the MANUAL TRAY. • On some printers / copiers you may need to set the printer to THICK PAPER.
TO TRANSFER THE IMAGE
• Pre -heat the heat press to 190 o C • Trim away any unprinted area around your image
• Choose a white or light colored substrate made of 100% cotton, cotton /poly blend • Place garment onto the press pad and pre-press the fabric for 5 – 10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles • Place transfer , image side down, onto fabric • Press at 190 o C for 25 seconds with medium to heavy pressure • For best results, leave on the press, wait 10 seconds before peeling in a smooth even motion. • To improve the feel, stretch the garment in all directions while still hot. • If desired, wait and peel the paper after cooling completely (cold peeling). This method gives a stiffer feel to the print. • If using the cold peel method, the stiffness can be softened by covering image with silicone paper and repressing for 10 – 15 seconds and immediately stretching it in all directions while still hot. For best results, after the shirt has cooled, re-press with a Silicone sheet for 10 seconds.

Washing the Garment
For Best Results: • Turn garment inside out before washing • Machine wash warm or cold • Mild Color -safe detergent (No Bleach) • Dry in dryer inside out, on low heat setting • If garments needs ironing, DO NOT iron directly on the transfer
Storage and Handling of the Paper
For best results, when receiving a new batch of paper let it acclimatize for 12-24 hours. Store the paper in a cool, dry area. Put the paper into re-sealable poly bags and include one silica gel (desiccant) package. This will not only help improve the quality of your printed image but will reduce copier jamming as well.
