Questions From the Board
What level of financial reporting can I expect, and at what frequency? Can you provide a sample report?
You can expect to have detailed financial statements and balance sheets provided monthly. Our goal is to get you these reports within 14 days of the end of the month. You will also be able to request any information at any time.
The appendix contains sample financial reports.
What kind of training, benefits, and career development opportunities do you provide for on- site employees?
Please reference the Staff Development, Accountability, and Career Opportunities section located on page 12 & 13 of the proposal for more information.
How do you manage the transition process to ensure minimal disruption to members and guests? What is your communication plan?
We understand a transition is never easy and it comes with many questions and uncertainties for your staff and members. Our goal is to work with you on when and how to communicate the change effectively, and to be on-site throughout the transition to ensure all parties, staff and members included, have their questions answered. This includes multiple staff sessions to discuss individual positions and benefits, as well as hosting member town halls to address membership questions. This process is of utmost importance to us, and we invest significant time and resources to ensure a successful transition without issue. We have a thorough transition checklist, which contains over 150 items, to ensure we do not miss anything during this phase.
For more information, please reference the Transition section located on page 20 & 21 of the proposal.
Can you provide three client references, preferably from courses similar to mine in terms of type (private/public), market, and operational challenges?
Yes, please see the the references section of the proposal on page 22.
How would a reciprocal golf relationship work? What options would we have to control how much our course is used or not used?
Participation in KemperCollection is optional and fully controlled by the Board. Reciprocal play is request-based, approved by the host club, and scheduled at the discretion of the receiving course. KemperSports monitors participation to ensure fairness and balance across the network.
