MAPTS program graduates its newest class

MAPTS, part of UAF Community and Technical College, offers comprehensive training in soft skills and hands-on industrial skills to support the state's resource industries and beyond. The University of Alaska established the Mining and Petroleum Training Service in 1979 to

deliver training, development and consulting services to the resource industries of Alaska. Since that time, MAPTS has trained more than 100,000 individuals and has offices in Soldotna and Anchorage which serve the entire state. Congratulations to all the graduates and welcome to the mining industry!
