Newlands Golf Club once again played host to the 42nd annual M&ECA Golf Event on August 29, continuing a proud tradition of camaraderie and competition among the CIF’s mechanical and electrical companies. This year’s event marked another successful gathering, featuring teams from Burlington Engineering, CJK, Designer Group, Dornan Group, Jones Engineering, King and Moffatt, Kirby Group, Laminar Engineering, Leo Lynch, Mercury, PJ Duffy, Specialist Technical Services Group and Tritech Group. Special congratulations are extended to Keith Burns from Tritech Group, who claimed the prestigious MEBSCA President’s Prize, setting a high standard for future competitions. Keith Mooney (PJD) won second prize, as well as closest to the pin, while coming in third was Jason Doorley (Designer Group). The event was not only a celebration of
golfing skill but also an opportunity for professionals to connect and strengthen relationships within the industry. “The M&ECA Golf Event continues to be a highlight in the annual calendar, fostering a sense of community.” The day concluded with an evening meal, where attendees had the chance to reflect on the day’s successes and look ahead to next year’s event.
