A COMPREHENSIVE PACKAGE DELIVERED BY MGA COMMUNICATION INCLUDES AUDIO-VISUAL SYSTEMS FOR THE SCHOOL’S MUSIC AND THEATRE PRODUCTIONS… AV SOLUTIONS
MGA Communication was commissioned by Braham Group to provide audio-visual solutions for the new £22m Devenish College in Enniskillen. Having successfully partnered with the project’s main electrical contractor on previous projects, MGA Communication was again brought on board as a specialist subcontractor. Delivered by main contractor Glasgiven Contracts Ltd, the new-build school offers capacity for up to 800 students. A comprehensive package delivered by MGA Communication includes audiovisual systems for the school’s main hall, sports hall, fitness suite and drama and music classrooms featuring a recording studio. MGA provided the IP infrastructure across the entire site including external
installed across the site, consisting of approximately 120 extensions on SIP trunks. AV in the multi-purpose hall was a cutting-edge solution consisting of LED lights on various trusses linked to a digital lighting desk to control scenes and individual lights as required by the production. A state-of-the-art sound system was installed utilising TW audio speakers and a MIDAS mixing desk. Digital I/Os were utilised throughout so that the school has full flexibility to use microphones in various locations. Similar smaller systems were installed in the drama and music rooms.
