A full electrical installation has been completed on time and on budget by Braham Group at St Peter’s National School in Dunboyne. Representing its first complete electrical fit-out in collaboration with main contractor DCM Contracts and Varming Consulting Engineers, the six-month project ran smoothly for the electrical contractor. St Peter’s opened in 2004 as the first Church of Ireland denominational school established since the foundation of the Republic of Ireland, catering for students from south Meath and west Co Dublin. Originally housing 23 pupils and two

teachers in Dunboyne parish hall, prefabs were later added to accommodate the school’s expansion to 72 pupils and five teachers. Replacing the temporary site with a new build, St Peter’s National School is a single-storey primary school featuring five classrooms, two special needs rooms, a library and an assembly hall with capacity to grow to accommodate around 100 pupils. Construction works commenced in October 2022, with Braham Group’s team totalling 20 including five direct employees alongside various sub- contractors.

“Braham Group followed detailed specifications laid out in the Irish education department’s design-and-build framework.”
