Each of the different Level 6 apprenticeship programmes on offer at the BBC gives school-leavers a unique opportunity to kick-start their career in media with real-life workplace experience, dedicated support from line managers and Scheme Specialists and a formal degree qualification. Not only this, but new joiners will also become part of a thriving BBC apprentice community whose voice really matters. From innovative degree apprenticeship routes in Broadcast Engineering, Data Science and Software Engineering to programmes in Chartered Management, Project Management and Digital User Experience, a career with the BBC delivers the knowledge, skills and experience required to tackle complex problems, create ground-breaking user experiences and support the BBC’s TV and Radio studios to deliver and produce broadcasts across their network. Programmes last between 3-4 years depending on the career path new joiners follow. And, successful completion of a degree apprenticeship with the BBC can lead to exciting roles as an Outside Broadcast Engineer, Graphic Designer, Systems Engineer or Business Coordinator and within Technical or Product delivery teams.
