EXHIBIT: OPEN DOORS May 3-30 The OpenDoors program is an art programdesigned for children who demonstrate artistic interest or talent, but who also have a financial need. The focus of the program is to provide these students with a venue to create and learn about art. All sales for this exhibit go directly to the children to support these aspiring artists. INVASIVE May 5-24 INVASIVE is a collaborative exhibition at the Sidney &Berne Davis Art Center (SBDAC) created in partnership with the Lee County School Systemand the Foundation for Lee County Schools. This exhibition, as a part of the STEAM initiative, will ask students to unite art and design with science. Students must adequately research the biology and ecology of the invasive species and our local southwest Florida ecology in order tomake their artistic renderings andmust think critically and creatively about controlling and lessening the destructive impact of invasive species on our native ecosystem. www.sbdac.com
