Inspector Training Services (ITS) is a member-based organization that is always there to serve and assist our members with expert advice and training in order for them to thrive in the flooring inspection & claims management business; we are here for YOU! Inspector Training Services (ITS) was founded in 2001. It is owned and operated by full-time practicing inspectors, Will Stoner, Andrew Fronczek, and Drew Kern, who have made it their mission to provide the best training in the flooring industry. ITS classes are geared toward inspectors and/or other flooring professionals who want to expand their knowledge and distinguish themselves from others within the flooring industry. The goal of ITS is to provide those who are dedicated to the flooring industry with outstanding educational opportunities. Our commitment to supporting our colleagues beyond our classes is one aspect that truly sets us apart. In addition to providing both inspector training and certification courses for carpet, hardwood, laminate, resilient flooring (LVT & sheet goods), substrate, and moisture testing, ITS classes are open to manufacturers, retailers, installation and restoration contractors, builders, and other flooring professionals who are looking to improve their understanding of the products they are using to help eliminate potential flooring problems, and thus increase the profitability of their business. Additional shorter courses are also being developed specifically for retailers and restoration contractors. These courses help retailers and contractors learn how to prevent common causes of claims (i.e., moisture issues, improper acclimation, subfloor prep issues, etc.). Avoiding callbacks, re-dos, and product disputes can save thousands of dollars. The courses also provide the knowledge to handle the inspection process more confidently, reduce downtime, and keep projects on schedule. ITS is also working collaboratively with several other leading industry associations and organizations on educational programs geared toward multi-industry groups with similar vested interests in successful flooring projects. ITS is a CEC provider for IICRC Hard Surface Inspectors and a CCU provider for NWFA.
