THE CAPTAIN HOOK 2016 AQHA GELDING Consigned by Jesse Broussard LOT #88 The Captain Hook, “Hook” is a 9 yr old, 16.1 had gelding by Captain Perk. He is a solid 3d barrel horse in tough Texas competition and has hit the bottom 1d. Will be faster when hauled consistently. Very smooth, calm, light and willing to do anything you ask. Has a great handle and fun personality. Rides in the woods, pasture and even the lake alone or out with others. Can pony with buggy as well. Owner rode and exercised him during her whole pregnancy. Disclaimer: He is such a cool horse but did buck with owner a few times in the last 4 yrs during a run. Back was xrayed after 1st time and was clean. Leaning towards poor saddle fit since he’s been fully vetted and that’s one thing we didn’t change. Someone else has been running him off and on from February 2024 till April 2025.
