Networking at NAPE by April Luedecke, CDOA NAPE Summit in Houston, Texas comes once a year. In 2018, the expo took place on February 8 and 9 at the George R. Brown Convention center with 11,000 registered attendees and close to 800 exhibitors. The North American Prospect Expo is ground-zero for connecting oil and gas professionals from around the globe. While most of the exhibits focus on matching up investment opportunities, a myriad of related organizations and institutions were also present. Our NADOA booth was staffed with Michele Lawton, Kathy McLelland and April Luedecke on Thursday and Heather Lister on Friday. Our goal in attending NAPE is to expand our member base and find new job opportunities.
We were visited by our friends Andrew Graham and Matt Schlensker with
Steptoe & Johnson as well as made new friends with Jason Farley, an Oil Scout from XTO, and Ryan Marshall, Sales Representative with Dawson Geophysical.
