There’s nowhere quite like Glasgow’s historic West End. A unique urban landscape of elegant sandstone townhouses and tenements packed with fashionable independent shops, bars and restaurants, there’s a constant buzz about this highly desirable part of town. Ancient GlasgowUniversity has its main campus at Gilmorehill, while the Finnieston strip has been rated ‘the hippest place in the UK’ and among ‘the coolest neighbourhoods in Europe’. Yet all this activity nestles among peaceful, leafy surroundings, with lush green space never more than a few steps away.

Kibble Heights enjoys a secluded setting near the magnificent Botanic Gardens, and our development takes its name from the iconic Kibble Palace, the jewel of the Botanics. Built for the eccentric inventor and engineer John Kibble, this magnificent iron-framed conservatory was originally erected near Helensburgh, over thirty miles away, and then transported up the river Clyde to be installed on its current site in 1873. A £7 million restoration project, completed in 2006, has returned this beloved Glasgow landmark to its original glory.
