There’s nowhere quite like Glasgow’s historic West End. Built for the eccentric inventor and engineer John Kibble, this magnificent iron-framed conservatory was originally erected near Helensburgh, over thirty miles away, and then transported up the river Clyde to be installed on its current site in 1873. A £7 million restoration project, completed in 2006, has returned this beloved Glasgow landmark to its original glory.
