Andrew “Drew” Maristch III WCRE adds new VP of corporate svcs. & portfolios
NAIOP NJ honors leaders at Annual President’s Awards

Maristch's most recent po- sition was director of leasing and corporate operations at alphabroder, where for 12 years he managed a diverse four million s/f national real estate portfolio consisting of warehouse, call center, corporate office, and retail space, for the billion-dollar enterprise. Serving as the sole leader of the real estate department, he led site selec- tion, space planning, contract negotiation, relocation, expan- sion, subleasing, and property management. Maristch will continue to manage this same portfolio as part of the duties of his new position. “Each new member of our team strengthens our ability to meet specific needs and build even more successful relationships with our clients and community,” said Jason Wolf , founder and managing principal of WCRE. “Drew brings a unique skill set that will allow WCRE to serve cli- miliarity with building design and construction make him an asset to my practice,” said Weko. “Adding a full-time as- sociate means improved ability to proactively and efficiently serve my clients.” Wyllie’s professional experi- ence includes graphic design, marketing, and online commu- nications for small businesses, multi-national corporations, and start-ups. His skills in- clude marketing strategy, social media, brand develop- ment and management, email marketing, data analysis, and video editing and production. the project manager/consul- tant for Catellus Development Corporation’s mixed-use de- velopment project, which in- cluded 390,000 s/f of retail and 160,000 s/f of light industrial space in New Jersey. The pair join Lee Fein and Brian Propp in focusing onWCRE's growth in Pennsylvania. In addition to his profes- sional accomplishments, Maristch exemplifiesWCRE's core values, especially com- mitment to the community. He has organized and pro- moted several charity ice hockey events to benefit Al- zheimer’s Association Dela- ware Valley Chapter and has served on the organization's development committee. Cur- rently he is active on the Citizen’s Council for Cherry Hill Township. n He was most recently mar- keting manager of online de- velopment for Brandywine Senior Living, where he led de- velopment of the new corporate website; instituted and imple- mented social media strategy; designed marketing materials aimed at securing capital partners for real estate acqui- sitions, land development, and new building construction; and collaborated with architects on marketing graphics. Visceglia Memorial Scholarship, pre- sented annually to a Patriot’s Path Scout whose Eagle Scout project demonstrates out- standing leadership skills, was awarded to Brendan Patrick Shanahan of Troop 72. His project was the renovation of a 750 s/f field house at Jann- arone Park in Parsippany. INAUGURAL PUBLIC PARTNER AWARDS The City of Hackensack was honored for working collabora- tively with local community and business professionals, providing opportunities for newmixed-use urban develop- ment that has promoted a pe- destrian-friendly downtown. The Borough of Florham Park was honored for their willingness, determination and ability to gauge market conditions, resulting in The Green at Florham Park, the master-planned redevelop- ment of the 268-acre former ExxonMobil Research Center site. The result is a mix of residential, hotel, retail and offices, with businesses now on-site ranging from BASF’s North American headquarters to the headquarters and train- ing facility of the NFL’s New York Jets. n
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — Leadership, advocacy, and career accomplishments in commercial real estate were at the forefront of NAIOP New Jersey’s Annual President’s Awards and Hall of Fame Dinner at the Meadowlands Hilton in East Rutherford. The event also marked the inau- gural Public Partner Awards, honoring communities that have successfully encouraged economic development, and the presentation of the Frank Vis- ceglia Memorial Scholarship. “Tonight we recognize all of the contributions of our hon- orees, their years of volunteer service to this organization, their advocacy on key public policy issues, and their impact on this industry,” Michael McGuinness , CEO of the commercial real estate devel- opment association, told the nearly 300 attendees. “We also recognize the communities of Hackensack and Florham Park for their accomplish- ments, flexibility, and willing- ness to partner with develop- ers to encourage growth.” THE 2015 AWARDS • Herman Simonse of Bellemead Development Corp. was accorded the Leg- acy Award, honoring members who have made contributions to NAIOP New Jersey that will have a lasting impact. • The Pillar Award, honor- ing involvement in leadership roles, advocacy and sponsor- ship, was awarded to Ilene Jablonski of Mack-Cali Realty Corp. • Alan Lambias e of River Terminal Development garnered the Advocacy Award, honoring his work on public policy issues. • The Rising Star Award, honoring developing leaders 35 and under, was accorded to Matt Schlindwein of F.
