PROFESSIONAL GROWTH: TRAINING SESSIONS
ACTIVE GROWTH MINDSET
Our team gathered in Jet Park earlier in the year for an engaging Active Growth Mindset training led by Lode (VP). Through interactive discussions and practical scenarios, we explored the importance of fostering a growth mindset among employees. Topics ranged from embracing feedback and active listening to understanding cultural diversity and collaboration across generations.
Pyschological Safety
Lode and Moira facilitated a thought-provoking workshop on Psychological Safety. This session encouraged us to reflect on our workplace experiences and assess whether we feel empowered to voice our opinions, make mistakes, and contribute positively to our teams. Through open discussions and self-reflection, we gained insights into the importance of creating an environment where every team member feels valued, included, and supported.
Play 11
TwinPower Generators Rand-Air & Atlas Copco Power Technique employees participated in Play #11 of our Inclusion & Diversity playbook which was led by our playmaker, Nikita Naidoo. The theme for this play, The Tower of Babel, explored the power of perception in communication and the value of shared understanding across diverse perspectives. Through engaging activities, our team discovered that seamless communication begins with common ground—a vital step in bridging the gaps created by different backgrounds and contexts. Together, we’re building bridges for a stronger, more unified team

Play 12
Musiiwa Mpfuni from Power Technique hosted the final play #12 of Playbook 1: I Am Power, I Empower. The session encouraged Atlas Copco Power Technique and Rand-Air teams to reflect on how they empower others and themselves.

Africa Team at the Kenya Geothermal Congress 2024 Atlas Copco Specialty Rental Africa was proud to participate in the Kenya Geothermal Congress 2024, a key event in the geothermal sector held in Nairobi, where Rudi also appeared on Television KBC Business, highlighting the importance of geothermal energy.
This congress provided an excellent platform for the team to explore the potential of geothermal energy. Rudi De Vry and Muthee Maina were honored to join the Geothermal Association of Kenya’s panel discussion which allowed them to share insights on how we can work together globally to drive sustainable development in geothermal energy.

Double Take
Here’s a fun fact you didn’t know: Some of our colleagues have identical (or fraternal!) doppelgängers out there in the world—because they’re twins! Let’s get to know Azelia and her twin.
What’s the best part about having a twin?
Having a unique bond. The bond between us is often described as one of the closest relationships possible. It’s a connection that is hard to replicate with anyone else.
Our temperaments are the same, but we are definitely different in personality. My twin sister is very assertive and has a dominant personality. I, on the other hand am meek and soft. It’s like we’re two halves of the same coin Are you and your twin alike or opposites in personality?
Azelia & Aziel
Do you have a “twin language” or secret signals?
Yes, one of them are when we want to leave an event, we give each other a specific look or tug on our ears.
What’s the most common question people ask you about being a twin?
Most of the time, people always ask us if we can feel each other’s pain, while pinching, pushing or hitting one of us
If you both worked at Rand Air, what would that look like?
In the beginning, I think for most people they would get confused but as time goes on they would pick up the difference. For me, it would be fun like having a built-in team. Working together would mean doubling down on our work ethic and goals. One of us might focus on the creative side of things while the other handles analytical tasks
