Ashley Miller knew she needed a new vehicle when the small car she was driving made her feel unsafe—especially during icy winters. “When I first found Melaleuca, my credit was terrible and I had $500 in my bank account,” she says. “I really wanted an SUV, but I couldn’t afford anything.” Now three years later, all of that has changed. “My favorite is the blind spot technology,” she says. “This CR-V has a censor that alerts me if there’s a car in my blind spot and also warns me if I get too close to another car’s bumper.” It gives Ashley peace of mind knowing that she has additional safeguards as she drives around with her daughter, Maelle. “Maelle is my world,” she says. “I’m a single mom, so I’m very protective.” Born premature, Maelle was in the NICU for months—a heartbreaking situation that indirectly led Ashley to start shopping at Melaleuca. “The NICU nurses told me that I shouldn’t have toxic products and fragrances in my home because it could hurt my baby’s delicate lungs,” she says. Shortly after that, she jumped into building a business. “This is the first time in my life that I have been able to get a car in my own name without needing my father to cosign,” she says. “I’ve never been more grateful!”
