IN THE SPOTLIGHT

As a life coach, an aspiring actress, an author, a former Bobbi Brownmakeup artist, a former truck driver, and a former robbery and homicide detective, Carlotta is no stranger to ambition. How she discoveredMelaleuca was no exception to her proactive approach to life. Rather than being introduced by a Marketing Executive, Carlotta made the approach. “I reached out to someone who I knew was connected to the company,” she says. “I didn’t even know how to pronounce ‘Melaleuca!’” But Carlotta did know what she was looking for, and she wanted to see whether Melaleuca was up to her standards. Did it have good products and a good compensation plan? Could someone truly win if they did the work?

Time and time again, she has found the answer to be a resounding yes ! “My Melaleuca business is an important part of my monthly income,” she says. “It has provided a good, steady income.” Carlotta has learned quickly that success in her business comes when she is helping others discover Melaleuca and grow their own businesses. “The more I help others, the more my family is blessed financially.” Sharing the Melaleuca difference is Carlotta’s favorite thing about building her business. “I explain how Melaleuca works compared to other stores,” she says. “You don’t get thank- you checks from other places. We’ve just been building up other companies, but when you shop with Melaleuca, you are investing

in it. Every time you shop, Melaleuca says thank you. People are blown away by that.” With so much passion and ambition, Carlotta has set some big goals for herself. “I want to reach Senior Director,” she says, “and help someone on my team do the same so that we can both attend Road to Executive Director. I also want to walk across the stage at Convention—not alone but with someone on my team.” How will Carlotta and her team get there? “The work is really just sharing with other people,” she advises. “Use the products and speak from your heart and you’ll make connections.”
