STUDENTS’ UNION & Sociełies Societies are a vital part of your student experience and joining a club or society is a great way to meet like-minded people and make new friends. It can also give you valuable transferable skills for gaining future employment – especially if you take a lead role in the running of the group. Swansea University has over 150 societies, so there is plenty for you to choose from. All societies are represented during Freshers’ week. This can be a great opportunity to meet some of the existing members and find out what each society has to offer.
MAKE YOURSELF ałhome We have several options for accommodation, all offering a safe and friendly environment where you can relax and enjoy your independence. Located a stone’s throw away from the beach on the edge of the world-famous Gower Peninsula, with your self-catering accommodation you’ll find yourself right at home on either Singleton or Bay Campus, or in one of our off-campus dedicated residential locations. If you are a new, full- time undergraduate student you are guaranteed accommodation (you must have a firm offer of a place at Swansea, meet the terms of your offer and must apply for accommodation by June 30th).
