When I moved back Lynchburg in 1990 to work for Moore & Giles, home was a $200 a month basement apartment underneath a dental office - its only redeeming quality was that it was right across the street from The Cavalier store that today still makes the best burger in town. Over the next 28 years I never imagined all the places I would visit and the interesting people I would meet. And somewhere along the way, those travels inspired our desire to make leather bags and accessories that we wanted to take with us. Our recent travels to the Patrón Distillery in Jalisco, Mexico and the Omega tannery in Pamplona, Spain provide picturesque backdrops for a few of our most recent introductions. Back home, Tray and I recently had the opportunity to share some time with our fathers back where it all started - The Cavalier. It was a reminder of how quickly time passes and how lucky we are to enjoy having them in our lives. With that we send a Happy Father’s Day to great Dads everywhere.
