Jefferson Street was Moore & Giles’ first home base. In homage to the ninth decade of business, our new armchair blends modern style and classic elements into a generation-spanning design. Handmade in North Carolina, this chair was built with its own legacy in mind. Like its namesake, we intend for this Jefferson Street Armchair to be a comfortable perch for decades to come.
33 Chair Our 33 Chair is a tailored showcase for the leathers from the most exclusive shelf of our leather library. Choose between Modern Saddle, vegetable tanned Italian leather and Sonoma Toffee, the smooth and supple product of a 150-year-old tannery outside of Venice, Italy. Construction details—hand built frame in a mix of southern pine and birch, the down-wrapped foam seat cushion, and hand set brass nails—mirror the inimitable quality of the leather.
