HOW OUR TEAM FLOURISHED THE REMOTE WORK ADVANTAGE: Back in 2020, right when the pandemic first hit, Nicole became extremely sick with COVID-19. Because we saw how sick she was and how serious the virus was, we did not hesitate to send our employees home to work remotely — and we haven’t gone back! Today, the nation (and world) is still recovering from the pandemic. Some businesses have ditched the remote work approach, and others, like us, have found some incredible benefits and decided to stick with it. Throughout this time, we have acquired some incredibly valuable assets for our firm, one of which is our team. The people we have now are the best we’ve ever had, and returning to brick-and-mortar operations would mean losing them, which is a no-go! Our priority is the health and happiness of our employees, which directly translates to client happiness. We firmly believe that if we take care of our team, they will do their best to take care of our clients.

Here are a few (of the many) other benefits we have found so far in our decision to remain remote.

More Flexibility Remote work provides our employees with more flexible work schedules, allowing them to better balance their personal and professional responsibilities.

Accessibility to the Best Talent As we mentioned, working remotely lets us recruit talent from a diverse geographic area.

Enhanced Productivity Our employees report higher levels of productivity due to fewer distractions and the ability to create customized work environments. Cost Savings The costs of keeping the office building open are vastly reduced. Rent, utilities, and overhead expenses can be kept at a minimum, and team members have the perks of saving on commute and travel expenses! The Bottom Line Are we glad we decided to remain remote? Yes, we are thrilled! Advances have changed the face of the legal industry — many depositions and mediations are now remote — so in our book, it’s the way to go!
