There has been a distinct increase in the popularity of river cruising with British holidaymakers for over a decade and its appeal continues to grow even faster as we leave the pandemic behind us. We have selected a choice of ships from leading river cruise companies and this brochure features 27 cruise itineraries sailing on Europe’s most popular rivers and waterways, with something for all tastes and budgets. Your customers will experience breathtaking scenery, cultural cities and picturesque towns with the addition of interesting included and optional shore excursions. Embarking and disembarking from the same port, leave the coach and join your customers on board. This is just a starting point, please ask your Account Manager for details of additional cruises.

Your Money is Safe with us Even though it is not a legal requirement, Albatross Travel sets aside advance payments, made by you to us, until your tour is completed. This reflects the undertaking and protection that you must in turn, provide to your passengers. The only exceptions to this are prepayments that are made in advance to suppliers or have been received on a non-refundable basis.
Things to remember… Pricing We have decided to produce this brochure with no prices. Our Account Managers can discuss sea crossings, overnights and other ad hoc factors when you request a quote, to tailor make them to your requirements. Overnight Hotels We understand that a successful river cruise is not just about the ship and that the hotels your passengers stay at along the way are a very important start and end to the tour. We have a great selection of hotels in excellent locations to suit all tastes and budgets. If you would like overnights adding to any of your tours, please give our Sales Team a call. Low Emissions Zones & Access Regulation New zones are regularly being introduced into towns and cities across Europe so please check before costing and operating your tour. If you are touring in Italy, you need to be aware of the restrictions that exist entering towns and cities. These can vary considerably across the country. ZTLs (Zona Traffico Limitato) are zones which restrict entry and circulation at certain times and affect all vehicles including local ones. In order to avoid unexpected fines, you need to get a permit ahead of crossing a ZTL. Signage for these zones is not always clear, so we recommend you find out ahead of travel if you are likely to cross them. Our itineraries are created with drivers’ regulations in mind and we look to comply with daily driving, break and rest requirements.

PRICING • River cruises are priced based on either a minimum passenger or cabin allowance. Each operator and route differ so this will be advised at quote stage. QUOTES & CONTRACT PRICES • All quotes & contract prices are non-commissionable and quoted inclusive of VAT. • All quotes & contract prices exclude public holidays and major local events unless otherwise stated. • All quotes & contract pricing is correct at the time of production and is subject to change due to changes in VAT and other local/national taxation. • All quotes & contract pricing excludes the cost of overnight hotels unless otherwise stated. • All quotes & contract pricing excludes road tolls, emission zone charges and permits. • All quotes & contract pricing excludes peak date • Full names and dates of births for each passenger are required with the final cabin/rooming list. We advise you take this information from your customers when they make their booking. SHIP ACCESS & OBSTRUCTED VIEWS • River cruising is not always suitable to those with mobility issues and a reasonable degree of mobility is required. This is due to ship access and occasionally ships needing to dock one or more ships abreast. It is not always possible to get the coach immediately close to the ship. Please advise us of any mobility requirements or special requests at time of the supplements on ferry crossings. PASSENGER INFORMATION

Your cruise has been based on this year's dates and times, where available. • Please note, on occasion some attractions require pre- payment upon confirmation and these charges will need to be passed on. • We cannot be held liable for any changes that may occur regarding a venue or an attraction that is beyond our control. However, we will aim to update you with details of any such changes as soon as possible. • All overnight ferry sailings will be on a room only basis with inside, lower bed cabins. If meals are required, please advise at the time of quotation. • Every effort has been made to ensure all information provided in our brochure is accurate and up-to-date at the time of publication in May 2023. However, details are subject to change and any typographical, clerical or other error or omission shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of Albatross Travel.

This can lead to views from the cabins being obstructed. CRUISE ITINERARY • Please note that itinerary routes & timings are subject to change for navigational reasons and passenger safety. The captain and cruise operator reserve the right to modify the cruise itinerary if necessary. In the event of strike, bad weather conditions endangering the operation of the vessel safely, low or high tides, extraordinary circumstances, or for any other legitimate reason, itinerary, docking stations and/or change of ports of call may occur. MEALS ON BOARD YOUR CRUISE • Breakfast, lunch and dinner will only be provided whilst on the vessel. On embarkation day, only dinner is provided & on disembarkation day, only breakfast will be provided. COACH PARKING • Coach parking is not included but will be required throughout the duration of your cruise. EXCURSIONS • Optional excursions are available with most cruise operators, please advise if you would like a price for these. SPECIAL REQUESTS • Please note that if a customer requires a guaranteed special request, these must be requested at the time of taking the individual booking. Special requests sent through on rooming lists will be sent to the cruise operator but are not guaranteed.
