RMR Solutions Initiatives are Underway!

What is Recurring Monthly Revenue? Recurring Monthly Revenue (RMR) is the predictable total revenue generated by your business from all the active subscriptions in a particular month. In the Security Integrations space, RMR consists of service plans, maintenence agreements, software support plans, managed access control or video surveillance, intrusion and fire alarm monitoring, security device health monitoring, inspections, and more. Making Headway In 2023’s fourth quarter, Cook & Boardman Group had several branches work diligently on increasing opportunities to earn recurring revenue. Specifically, we witnessed significant traction occur within A3 Communication’s branch in Maine, who earned managed access business for five new customers! The central managed services team can now support these customers on a daily basis. Similarly, the team at Advantech earned a large Service Plan (maintenance agreement) Contract with

the Wilmington Police Department valued at $9,564/ monthly, or around $115K/annually. Through this contract, Advantech will provide parts and labor services for Wilmington’s city-wide video surveillance system, in support of public safety. In addition to the above successes, there are several other initiatives underway to deploy RMR solutions within our Division 8 branches, utilizing inspection software to provide detailed and formal inspection documents for facility managers for all of their building openings. More information will be provided on this new solution moving forward. As a reminder, if you have recurring revenue opportunities where CBG can provide superior, holistic services to clientele, please contact me at whickox@cookandboardman.com to discuss. La Vergne, TN

Branch of the Quarter

“Branch of the Quarter! What a fantastic accomplishment for this team, and truly a moment to hold onto and celebrate in this branch’s history. When I joined this branch in 2023, I quickly saw this team had cultivated a strong, positive culture that was grounded in teamwork - the characteristic that defines and determines success! This culture was also built on the

core values of this company: SERVE. Having been in this industry for over 20 years, I can assure you it is rare to find a team that understands the complexity of what it takes to be successful in this space. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of a team that can step into that complexity and achieve it. Each person here takes responsibility and is willing to do the work to provide the support needed. I am proud and excited to now be one of the leaders driving the future of our branch! Purchasing, pre-install, hardware packing, door production, frame production, shipping, receiving, project management, detailing, estimating, project coordinators and sales teams have all been instrumental in helping us grow our business.” Rob Owen, Director of Enterprise Accounts “What truly makes La Vergne special is the people within it— their dedication, expertise, compassion, and collaborative spirit. Together, we form a dynamic team that is always ready to adapt and innovate. Each member brings unique talents and perspectives, fostering an environment of creative problem solving while also holding a core set of shared values. It’s this unity and shared commitment that enables our success and makes this a great place to work.” Robbie Harris, Branch Operations Manager
