Ergonomic colour-coded screwdrivers
S crewdrivers that meet the requirements for an ergonomic grip together with a permanent and clear tool marking can be hard to find. This was the starting point when Hultafors decided to develop a new category of tools, namely screwdrivers. Hultafor’s new product range contains 104 new screwdrivers from single models to complete sets. The full range includes all four standard models which are available as regular and VDE. In addition, Hultafor supplies stubbies, bit screwdrivers, hexagon ballpoint screwdrivers, hexagon nut drivers, and magnetic bit holders which are available in sets with short and long blades. The handles are long and are made with durable PPC plastic. They are also rubberised for the best ergonomic grip and comfort. Product Manager
at Hultafors, Filip Sahlberg, explained that the ability to quickly tell the size and model is paramount for the user and with this in mind, tool markings were a priority in the design process. Furthermore, the screwdrivers have a marking at the back of the handle which is permanently imprinted stating the size and the model, setting them apart from competitors. The broad range of VDE screwdrivers have insulated blades for working on electrical installations up to 1,000 V and they are all certified according to IEC 60900. Available with slotted, Phillips, Torx and Pozidriv heads, they all come with the same ergonomic grips and tool markings.
