overnight trip opportunity to every student in each year in the Upper School. These trips are an important part of our program and are offered at no after-tuition cost to families. For Grade 8 students, we offer trips that serve as culminating experiences for our Spanish and Mandarin programs. The trips we have offered in the past with great success include the following:
• Mandarin Immersion Trip to Taiwan • Spanish Immersion Trip to Guatemala • Service Learning Trip to Puerto Rico The language immersion trips are specifically designed for students who have studied those languages and are run in partnership with Where There Be Dragons. Our own Upper School English teacher, Chris Corrigan, is the point person for the Puerto Rico trip, and he works in conjunction with Global Works.
