&/#3&'r#3*&'4 L’ART À LA BIBLIOTHÈQUE Le comité de la bibliothèque d’Alfred- Plantagenet lance un nouveau projet visant à mettre en valeur les artistes locaux et à encourager un plus grand nombre de personnes à fréquenter les succursales de la bibliothèque locale. À partir de novembre, les œuvres de l’artiste locale Suzanne Lafrance seront exposées à la bibliothèque publique de Lefaivre. Le comité prévoit d’organiser prochainement des expositions simi- laires d’autres artistes dans les autres bibliothèques publiques du canton.

Please note that the Eastern Local of the Ontario maple syrup producer’s association will have an information day on Nov 25th 2023 at 8:30 a.m. Current members and non members are welcomed to attend. • Registration Fee for the day (includes an awesome sugar shack style hot lunch), Members $40.00 / Non-Members $50.00 (join OMSPA for members’ rate) • Children 12 and under $20 • New members will get 25% off their first-year membership. • Maple syrup equipment dealers will be present and many of the industry players will be there. • Silent auction of a variety of Maple syrup antiques, tools, craft, and other items. • Following below are some of the subjects that will be presented. • Basic and advance RO Techniques, Monitoring system review, Climate change presentation by ACER, How to insure a tree, OWA and SNC showing new drone/satellite and mapping tools for sugar bushes, Omafra news and improvement initiative, demo and presentation of the Omspa buddy sap strip, and lots more.
