This journey requires a commitment

At the heart of our approach at Embrace Your Fitness lie wellness principles as the bedrock of a proactive stance toward mental wellness. The ‘Commit. Do. Live’ framework is an integrated approach that delves deep into factors influencing individuals from both top-down and inside-out.These principles offer a comprehensive view of well-being, extending beyond the absence of illness to encompass thriving in various facets of life. This approach examines mindset, thought patterns (particularly negative ones), behaviours, fears, and belief systems that can be an impediment to improving health outcomes, as well as a roadblock to coping with the stresses of daily life

The Do phase focuses on reestablishing the connection between the brain and body through mindful practices. It entails purposeful movement, focused breathing, and nutrition strategies designed to reprogramme how individuals process fear and destructive thoughts. This phase requires that individuals adopt. Healthy healing habits (H2H habits): Implement habits that facilitate brain and body transformation and healing. This includes restoring sleep, releasing stress and renewing energy. Do: Reconnect brain and body Moving within your morals: Practising acts of kindness, forgiveness (of self and others as appropriate), and gratitude to promote brain and body health.

This journey requires a commitment to:

Process pain: Acknowledge and process emotional pain.

Find freedom: Address inner “defeaters”, such as negative self-talk and personal fears. Ignite compassion: Foster empathy, love, kindness, patience, and understanding toward self and others. Taking this sensitive (Commit) journey within a supportive group under the care of a health professional (in-person or virtual) can help to bridge the gap between surviving trauma and recovery. Additionally, setting up global mentors and educators prepared to help guide individuals through this process lets survivors know they are not alone, while providing them with the necessary encouragement and support to start and complete this healing process.

The Commit phase encourages individuals to adopt a positive, Commit: Embrace the Yes! mindset

empowered outlook that dismantles barriers, unleashes potential, and uncovers their authentic selves. Central to this phase is the pivotal question: destructive thought patterns and fears, while also excavating passions, talents, loves, and moral principles (kindness, goodness, gentleness, patience, etc.), individuals can find their unique pathway towards self-healing and overall well-being.
