A fter 20 years in business, Beacon Fire & Security now boasts an expansive client base ranging from large shopping centres to electrical contractors, charities, national retailers and facilities management companies. Recent projects include: Thompson Aero Seating DTF Thompson Aero Seating’s new £7.5m Dynamic Test Facility (DTF) in Banbridge was officially opened by NI Civil Service Head Jayne Brady on October 18. Beacon Fire & Security secured the contract for installation and commissioning of the facility’s fire alarm and detection system, providing full coverage for the ground-breaking facility. Thompson Aero is a long- standing customer of Beacon Fire & Security, which conducts installation, servicing and repairs throughout its Portadown and Banbridge factories. Beacon Fire & Security would like to congratulate Thompson Aero on its “new era of development and innovation”. The firm also wishes to thank Haughey Electrical and ISD for the appointment and great collaboration throughout the project.

Alma Place and Aster House Beacon Fire & Security has recently secured maintenance contracts for two fantastic new sites in Belfast, Alma Place and Aster House. Novel Properties has developed the two major accommodation blocks for students in Belfast City Centre. Offering a range of value-adding features from incredible wellness facilities to excellent service, the two properties are designed with one objective – to create communities of healthier, happier students. Proudly situated amongst the rich heritage of Belfast, Alma Place and Aster House boast a wealth of amenity spaces including a games room, private dining and a basement lounge, and are landmarks in their own right. Bedford House, Belfast Beacon Fire & Security has recently been appointed to carry out routine maintenance and inspections on all fire and security services in Bedford House, Belfast. A jewel in Belfast’s office space portfolio providing high- end accommodation and a second-to- none city centre location, the 10-storey building represented the largest

single property in the second quarter of 2023 and is let to 14 tenants. As well as 90,000sqft of grade-A office accommodation, it includes four retail units at ground level. Digital Hub, Cushendall Beacon Fire & Security has provided services at a new Digital Hub in Cushendall, part of a Grow the Glens initiative aimed at bringing training, opportunities and investment to the local community. The Digital Hub is located in a former police station bought over by the local community organisation to “build skills, capabilities and facilities in the Glens of Antrim that can capitalise on 21st century economic opportunities for the people that live here.” Beacon Fire & Security completed a full package of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control at the hub in conjunction with DJES Electrical Limited.
