B M Electrical Wholesale first set up shop in Coleraine in 1993 and retains its headquarters in the North Coast town. Back then, the

Co-founder Ken Magee, a time- served electrician, still serves as a director, while Managing Director Ken Robinson has been joined by his three sons Joshua, Luke and Tom in the business, which

Keeping operations going throughout the pandemic is a particular point of pride for Ken. “As a business, we never closed a single day; we opened for reduced trading hours with a skeleton staff to support those businesses and customers that needed materials in the health, agri-food and care sectors,” he said. “Many of our staff were placed on furlough leave, but all returned to their jobs. “During this time, we experienced material shortages and availability issues but still worked tirelessly to ensure we were able to deliver what our customers required.”
