B M Electrical Wholesale is celebrating 30 years of trading, while its third branch has reached its own milestone of 15 years in business.
Londonderry made its debut in 2008, joining the original Coleraine site founded in 1993 and the Ballymena branch opening its doors in 1999. A fourth location, the former Fairley & Smyth Electrical Wholesalers at the Duncrue Industrial Estate in Belfast, was added in 2019. Combining an expanded geographic reach with the professionalism on which BM Electrical Wholesale has built its reputation, the Derry site quickly established itself in the marketplace and has since added 2,500sqft of warehousing. A policy of the firm is to offer continuity of stock, service and
support across its four branches, while also tailoring solutions to the needs of each customer. BM Electrical Managing Director Ken Robinson said: “We have built our customer base on offering something different. “You always have to be competitive on price and have the right products in stock, but we also work hard to build relationships with customers, learn from what they need and build from there. “We pride ourselves on the fact that, unlike the multinationals, we have the flexibility to adapt quickly to meet market demands. As a result, our all-round service is at an extremely high level.”
