N ow approaching 25 years in business, Ballymena was BM Electrical Wholesale’s second branch to open after the firm was established in Coleraine in 1993. acquired the former Fairley & Smyth Electrical Wholesalers business at the Duncrue Industrial Estate. The Ballymena location, at the Pennybridge Industrial Estate, opened in 1999, bringing Ballymena into the new millennium with its wide product range, high level of service and support, and competitive pricing. Updates to the site over the years have included a revamped trade counter reflecting the firm’s new-look branding, and a new warehouse layout improving the efficiency and speed of service at the branch. Alongside its other three
branches, the Ballymena site is also benefitting from new team members, an enhanced delivery fleet and investment in its ecommerce offer and environmental initiatives. Managing Director Ken Robinson said, “Our focus has always been on offering our customers high levels of service, which has proven a successful philosophy over the years. “The continued success of our Ballymena location, and indeed all four branches, is down to the dedication of our staff and the loyalty of our customers, and we want to thank them all for their support.”
