EMCEE Mr. Desmond So
Desmond So is an international television presenter and emcee based in Hong Kong. He is the longest-serving front man of television market leader TVB’s long-running lifestyle and luxury-living show Dolce Vita, a program showcasing fine dining, timepieces, yachts and supercars, staycation hotspots, and the city’s most exclusive events. Previously, he was also host of a movie-based, entertainment news program on STAR Movies. His programs have reached millions of viewers in Greater China, Southeast Asia, and beyond. In 2010, Desmond was the only person from the media to conduct a one-on-one television interview with Hollywood royalty Nicole Kidman on her inaugural visit to Hong Kong. In addition to his entertainment work, Desmond is also a seasoned corporate trainer. Through East-West Institute of Applied Etiquette, a boutique consulting firm which he founded, he has offered thousands of hours of training on business etiquette, public speaking, and communication skills to professionals in various stages of their careers.
