Creation Day 2: How God Separated the Mayim

About 1.5 billion year after Creation, the temperature of the universe had cooled to a -450 degrees F / -268 degrees C and the first galaxies formed. Here are some interesting facts about galaxies:

• Galaxies are believed to be held together by an invisible gravitation force called dark matter. (Scientists still aren't sure of the origin or composition of this mysterious dark matter.) • Our Milky Way galaxy is just one of an estimated 2 trillion galaxies in our universe. • If there is an average of 100 billion stars per galaxy, that would mean that there are about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (that's 1 billion trillion) stars in the observable universe. • Our Milky Way galaxy appears as a spiral band of over 200 billion stars (including our sun), planets and gases moving slowly around massive black hole (dead star) at its galactic center. • The Milky Way is about 100,000 light-years across. • Except for helium (an inert gas) , our bodies are composed of the same chemical elements that God used to create the stars and galaxies. • 75% of our bodies are made up of hydrogen and oxygen. That's the same combined percentage of these two elements also makes up the Milky Way! • Carbon is not only the fourth most abundant element in the entire universe, but also the second most abundant element in the entire you !
