Creation Day 2: How God Separated the Mayim

As I stated at the beginning of this chapter, Creation Day Two was not a completion day. It was a day of preparation. God's creative work of the “Day Two” was the preparation of the ( mayim ) - all the chemical and physical ingredients necessary in completing His heavenly expanse above ( Shamayim ). Alway remember this very important fact. Each step in God's creation process is orderly and performed for the purpose of sustaining life. While we cannot fathom the depth of God's knowledge and and power, we can gain insight by studying His Word and following His progressive design of the universe, our planet and all of the elements ( mayim ) He used in the process. Ultimately, the moment when the Master Craftsman completes the chemical requirements for mayim of His heavenly expanse below (in the next chapter) for sustaining life on planet earth, only then will He declare - "It is good!"
