Now, take a look at this picture showing a cross- section of the relationship between earth's thin crust and the mantle below. 10 8
Surprisingly, there is a hidden scientific clue recorded in Genesis 1:9 about the relationship between the Earth's crust and mantle that most have overlooked. See if you can find it. Then God ( Elohiym ) said , "Let the waters (mayim) below the heavens (shamayim) be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so. ~ ESV Carefully look at the pictures below and see if you now know the answer.
By substitut ing " elements " for the Hebrew word mayim and " of the earth " for the statement " below the heavens (shamayim) " , see if Genesis 1:9 makes more sense . " Let the elements of the earth be gathered into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so.
