Day Three: God creates the Mayim for Earth's Oceans and Seas
God called the dry land earth, and the gathering of the waters He called seas; and God saw that it was good. ~ Genesis 1:10
By declaring "It was good" , God recognized that all of the chemical requirements ( mayim ) for His shamayim above (the universe) and, most importantly, His shamayim below (the Earth) were now complete. All of the chemical elements ( mayim ) necessary for creating the human body (listed on the chart below) were now in place - with one big exception .
Before declaring Creation Day 3 was over, God had one more major task to complete - the creation of the biological means of supplying man with easy access to the most essential element needed, not only for his survival, but for all future animal life on planet Earth - OXYGEN !
