Creation Day 4: God reveals His "heavenly clocks" in the night and day sky Balancing E arth's distribution of ocean and land masses

Recent scientific studies analyzing rock and fossil samples collected from oceans and continents around the world show that Earth has maintained a moderately warm temperature range between 32 F 0 to 122 0 F (0 0 to 50 0 C ) throughout its long history.

Carefully examine the sequence of pictures above showing the location and percentage of land masses that existed in Earth's northern and southern hemispheres during Creation Days 3 through 6. • Creation Days 3 & 4 - Acco rding to conclusive scientific evidence, all of Earth's land masses were joined together during this time into a super-continent called Pangea. Because the fused land masses were centrally located, global air temperatures were too warm (above 80 o F/27 o C) for polar ice caps to exist , but global ocean temperatures were perfect (75 o F/24 o C) for sea life to be created.

• Creation Days 5 & 6 - Beginning on Creation Day 5, God separated E arth's continents, moving most of the land masses northward and westward for the main purpose of balancing E arth's global temperatures ( presently 60 o F/16 o C ) fo r the great diversity of life He was about to create.
