Creation Day 6 How God Uniquely Created all Life on Earth
203
The Science behind God's command in Genesis 1:21 and Genesis 1:28 to “be fruitful and multiply.”
From the moment your were conceived, God perfectly encoded each of your 46 strands of DNA (called chromatids) with all the genetic information you received from your father 's sperm and mother 's egg . He next attached each 6 foot strand of DNA at the center to form 23 pairs of chromosomes inside the nucleus of each of your cells .
God created all plants and animals a s 'diploid' organisms, which means each organism has copies of the DNA inherited from their father and mother separately attached to their chromosomes and packed inside their nucleus. Science calls this complex process meiosis .
Father's Sperm contain 23 Chromosomes
Human beings have 23 joined pairs of 46 chromosomes
Mother's Egg contains 23 Chromosomes
We receive 23 chromosomes from our dad and 23 from our mom . God specifically programed the 23rd set of chromosome s either to be a male ( XY) or a female ( XX ).
Watch this video explaining the amazing process of meiosis where the DNA from a female's egg combines with the DNA from a male's sperm to create a fertilized , single-celled embryo called a zygote.
