Explaining God's Simple Process of Plant Pollination
Produce fertilized seeds
God created the process of pollination as a simple means for plants to reproduce and make fertilized seeds. God also adorned all flowering plants , called angiosperms, with non-reproductive parts which are often unique and colorful. These parts are called flower petals and sepals . The shape and color of a flower 's petals and sepals help attract pollinators - like bees and butterflies - which transfer pollen from the anthers,
or male reproductive part of the flower, to the stigma, the female reproductive part of the flower.
God also programmed the genes of flowering plants with internal circadian clocks made of proteins that work as photoreceptors activated by increased sunlight and warmer temperatures. These photoreceptors tell the plant that it's time to bloom and release pollen to germinate seeds.
