Think about this. How could these two m e n , King David and the Apostle Paul, who lived thousands of years before telescopes and other prec i sion instruments were invented to view distant stars and galaxies, make such claims ? The answer is simple. King David and Paul both knew God as their loving Creator. They woke up each morning with "an attitude of gratitude" , knowing that everything t he y ha d - from the oxygen t he y breathe d , the food that t he y ate , their home s , their friends , their f amily and even their earthly assignment s - were a ll gifts from their loving Creator . T he love of God is far greater than anything our finite minds can even imagine. He is love itself. God created the world to provide the perfect place for men, women and children to live together in total peace and enjoy a loving relationship with their Creator. Because God created and loves us, we have nothing to fear. He protects us and provides for all of our needs. His greatest act of love, the shed blood of Jesus that cleanses all sin , makes it possible for all mankind to spend eternity together with our loving Creator , God, forever . “ O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? ” ~ Psalm 8:1-4 written by King David (1010–970 BCE) "For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities— H is eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. ~ Romans 1:19-20 written by Paul the Apostle , who was martyred in 65 AD.
