Creation Day 7 The Garden of Eden: God's Vision of our Future Hope
The Garden of Eden was God’s Garden, planted on Earth as a n act of God's love . " Now a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it divided and became four [branching] rivers. The first [river] is named Pishon; it flows around the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. The gold of that land is good; bdellium (a fragrant, valuable resin) and the onyx stone are found there. The name of the second river is Gihon; it flows around the entire land of Cush ( in Mesopotamia ) . The third river is named Hiddekel (Tigris); it flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates. So the LORD God took the man [He had made] and settled him in the Garden of Eden to cultivate and keep it.” ~ GENESIS 2:8-15 AMP We do not know the exact borders or location where God placed the Garden of Eden, but the Bible’s description of th is Earthly paradise associates it with four rivers and a n abundance of resources, including the following gifts supplied by God, our Heavenly Creator.
