Creation Day Four: Genesis 1: 14 -1 9 14. Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; 15. and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth"; and it was so. 16. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17. God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18. and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. 19. And God saw that it was good. So the evening ( ereb ) and the morning ( boker ) were the fourth day.

Even after I was saved in 1988 and accepted the Bible as my sole source of truth , I found a major problem with the introduction of both the sun and moon on Creation Day 4. Deeply confused, I prayed and I asked the Holy Spirit for His discernment t o help me discovered the answer s to the following perplexing questions: • The earth and the other 7 planets revolve around the sun. How is that possible if the sun was not created until Day 4? • How c ould there be plant life in Day 3 without the sun’s light for photosynthesis?

The answer to these puzzling questions and many more arrived in my mailbox a few days later in the form of a book I had ordered entitled, "The Science of God" written by MIT physics professor, Dr. Gerald Schroeder.
