69 It is really interesting that the Bible recorded the notion of an expanding universe ( stretching out of the heavens ) thousands of years before science came to the very same conclusion. Unfortunately, this important Biblical truth has never been reveal ed and understood by mankind , until now. Thanks to the extensive research by two truth - seeking Jew ish physicists, Albert Einstein and Dr. Gerald Schroeder, we now have a better understanding of: • the chemical and physical make up of the waters ( mayim ) that were above and below the heavenly expanse; • the scientific evidence proving the existence of a heavenly expanse ( raqia ); • how stretching of the heavenly expanse ( raqia ) changes our understanding of how God created the universe, the earth, and all living things both in 13. 8 billions years ( according to science ) and in exactly 6 literal, 24 hour days ( according to Genesis 1 ). C reation Day 2 : The Stretching of the Raqia
Before we start out on our journey into understanding the science behind Creation Day Two , let's meet the first of our two KLJKO\TXDOLILHG teachers.
Professor Albert Einstein 1879 - 1955
My friends called me Albert. I was born on March 14th, 1879 in present day Württemberg, Germany. At the age of 21, I moved to Zurich, Switzerland where I entered the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in 1896 to be trained as a teacher in physics and mathematics. In 1901, I received my college diploma, acquired a Swiss citizenship and accepted a position as technical assistant in the Swiss Patent Office where I worked until 1909. In 1905 I was awarded my doctor’s degree in theoretical physics from the University of Zurich. It was my childhood passion to understand the nature of light that drove me to write four of the most creative works of my life. While still working at the patent office in 1905, I published the following four papers all related to the properties of light:
In my first 1905 paper , I applied the quantum theory (developed by German physicist Max Planck) to light in order to explain the
phenomenon known as the photoelectric effect, by which a metal will emit negatively charged electrons when hit by light waves. This is the photoelectric effect that keeps the elevator door from closing on your foot.
