Microsoft Word - Genesis One New

5 Based on these concise meanings of the word "truth", let's take look again at a blatant statement made by the Apostle Paul on God's perspective of mankind's acceptance of the "truth of Genesis 1:1" recorded in Romans 1:18-22 (NLT) . " 18 But God shows His anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. 19 They know the truth about God because He has made it obvious to them. 20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. 21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship Him as God or even give Him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools." According to the Apostle Paul, if we make an unbiased investigation of the world around us, we can determine the truth of God's existence and His attributes by merely observing the things of nature. In essence, by examining creation we can discover our Creator! Introduction: Creation's Missing Puzzle Piece

"Those that fail to learn from history, are doomed to repeat it." ~ Winston Churchill

The Bible in its entirety, from cover to cover, from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:2, is mankind's ' Plumb Line of Truth' . (Whether you believe this last statement or not, why do you think it's mankind's all-time, bestselling book?) The Bible teaches us that the God of Genesis 1:1 is the Creator of all things. He alone is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end of all things ( Revelation 21:6-7 ). God exists eternally in a supernatural realm absent from the reality of both space and time. His purpose for creating us is to be eternally united with Him as Our Heavenly Father; enjoying His Glory, His Fullness and His Peace, forever and ever. God has also created each of us with a free will. If we do not recognize Him as God, He will allow us to choose our own direction in life. The power of choice is necessary for any solid relationship. As humans living in a natural world, our finite minds sometimes grapple with such a grandiose declaration, but without this basic understanding of the attributes of our Creator, we will never trust God completely, live for Him confidently and love Him without reservations.
