Creation Day 2: The Stretching of the Raqia

By Dr. Gerald Schroeder

Albert Einstein, in His laws of relativity, taught the world that a bsolute time does not exist in our universe. Time is a relative measurement based on the effect that the stretching of space has on our perception of the passage of time. Time actually stretches as the universe expands outward .

Wherever you are, time is normal for you because your biology is part of that local system - t hat is, as measured from our view, our location, within the universe. But, there is an another aspect of our perception of time that changes when those events are viewed, not “on location,” but from afar, across a great galactic distance. We call this phenomen a "space-time".
