Mr. Dali Tambo and Mr. Tumi Tsehlo with Mr. Sindiso Nyoni, designer of the Tambo portraits featured on the coins, as well as Ms. Linda Vilakazi, CEO of the Tambo Foundation Right: Oliver Reginald Tambo Commemorative Centenary coin series designs in collaboration with The South African Mint. In 2017, commemorating the birth centenary of an icon of the liberation struggle, Oliver Reginald Tambo, the South African Mint, commissioned Nyoni to design to design the collectable R5 coin. The inaugural coin in the series commemorated a century of Oliver Reginald Tambo.
Nyoni was commissioned by the SA Mint to design the portraits of Nelson Mandela, featured on the Mandela Centenary coins.
