Crofton ⚛ Campfire Storytime Saturday, June 3 at 10 am Join us for campfire stories, learn about camping safety and enjoy some fun nature activities. Stuffed Animal Storytime: Get Ready for School Saturday, August 19 at 10 am Enjoy a storytime with fun books and songs. Get your stuffed toy ready for the school day with games and activities. Discoveries: The Library at the Mall Kanopy Kids Movie Marathon Friday, June 16 at 10:30 am Enjoy a marathon of animated children’s classics and learn more about using Kanopy Kids with your library card! Camping Pretend Play Friday, July 7 at 10:30 am Join us for a pretend play camping trip! We’ll explore colors, numbers, shapes and more while enjoying some of our favorite camping activities.

Edgewater ⚛ Butterfly Release Storytime Monday, August 14 at 10:30 am

Listen to stories all about yoga and movement as we follow along together and practice the yoga poses featured in the books. Pirate Storytime Saturday, August 19 at 10:30 and 11:30 am Learn how to talk and dance like a pirate while also enjoying some nautical tales of treasure, adventure and sailing the seven seas! Brooklyn Park Storytime and Nature Walk at Masonville Cove Saturday, August 5 at 11 am Join us for a special storytime at Masonville Cove, followed by a 60-minute guided nature walk led by outdoor educators. Busch Annapolis Bounces and Rhymes Storytimes Fridays at 10:15 am We will introduce a diverse collection of developmentally-appropriate activities for pre-walking children with a 20 minute free playtime at the end. Family Pajama Storytimes Monday, June 12, Thursday, July 20 and Tuesday, August 15 at 6:30 pm Wear your pajamas and enjoy evening stories, songs and activities. ⚛ Shape it Up! Thursday, July 13 at 2 pm Explore shapes by creating shape monsters, doing shape printing, building vehicles with shapes and more! 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Bubble Wrap Dance Party Tuesday, August 22 at 10:30 am Join us for a dance party and pop the morning away with music and dancing. Sign up your child for the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program and take home a free book and bag.

Learn about the butterfly life cycle, sing songs, listen to a story and watch as our library butterflies take wing! Glen Burnie Pre-K Learn and Play! Thursdays at 11 am , except July 6, 20, August 17, 24 and 31 Children ages 3-5 explore weekly themes while developing early literacy skills for school readiness through stories, songs, movement and hands-on creative play activities! Welcome the Summer Storytime Friday, June 16 at 11 am Brighten your day at our special storytime embracing the beginning of summer. Sunflower Yoga Fridays, June 23, July 21, and August 18 at 11 am Little yogis will practice mindfulness and movement with yoga songs and games in this family-friendly yoga practice. You Choose: An Interactive Storytime Saturday, July 8 at 11 am Think you’ve heard the story of the Three Little Pigs ? Think again! You choose which way the story will go in this interactive family storytime.

Get ready to go to kindergarten with a fun school-themed storytime. Meet a kindergarten teacher who will discuss all of the things to expect on the first day!

Healthy Snack Storytime Friday, August 4 at 10:30 am

Monday, August 21 at 6 pm and Tuesday, August 22 at 10 am Drive your vehicle through Tape Town and explore fun areas along the way as we learn through play. Severna Park Unicorn Storytime Saturday, August 5 at 11 am Join us for a magical storytime as we celebrate unicorns with stories, songs and a craft. Costumes encouraged!

Stories and songs celebrating fruits, vegetables and healthy foods. Bring a towel or blanket to enjoy a healthy “picnic” snack after storytime.

Ballet Storytime and Preview Saturday, August 12 at 2 pm

The Ballet Theater of Maryland will share how ballet and movement can tell a story and take us on adventures, just like a book!
