Latest Update On COVID-19 Safety & Precautions From Excel CEO Kristin Mullen
Message from the CEO:
Since we reopened our clinics on March 30th, very early on in this pandemic, we have successfully and safely performed 35,000 in-clinic visits and 2,700 Telehealth visits. Now, as we move into the green zone of the pandemic, and more people venture out to seek the care they need, we realize that patients may have additional questions about how we are maintaining our safety precautions.
Below we have outlined information from our website to address this subject:
• Information regarding our screening procedures www.excelphysicaltherapy.com/why-excel/covid-19- questions-and-answers • What if I can’t get a prescription for Physical Therapy from my doctor? www.excelphysicaltherapy.com/direct-access
When physician offices were closed, and now as they open up to in- clinic visits and surgical procedures, the Excel team has established consistent communication with our referral sources to ensure therapy prescriptions and patient plans of care are promptly established.
• Additional questions regarding our safety protocols www.excelphysicaltherapy.com/contact-us
All 33 Excel locations are fully open and stand ready to provide our exceptional care.
We welcome your requests, and are happy to further discuss any specific questions you may have, to provide assurance of our commitment to your health and safety. Please feel free to contact us at 866-883- 9235 or call any of our clinics. We look forward to speaking with you soon and assisting in your care. Lastly, as a service to you, through the month of July, we are offering FREE SCREENINGS for all previous patients, friends, and family and hope you continue to remain healthy and safe!
While the pandemic has certainly presented many challenges from a business and health perspective, it has also prompted many silver linings that will ultimately continue to improve patient care. • Within a two week turnaround, the Excel team was able to leverage telehealth technology to reach all patients who needed therapy, but were unable to be seen in the clinic.
• Therapists were able to reach out to past patients on a regular basis for well checks and therapy needs assessments.
In Good Health,
• Schedules and clinic layouts were developed to maintain social distancing and provide individualized, safe, high-quality care.
